Is it important to have even crop flow from platform to the combine concave?

This question and many more were discussed recently during combine clinics in the mid-west sponsored by Beck’s Hybrids. A good even flow of crop is very important to obtain threshing of material on material in the concave. This improves grain quality yielding higher premiums to the grower. There were many good discussion of crop flow through the combine.
