Is it important to have even crop flow from platform to the combine concave?

This question and many more were discussed recently during combine clinics in the mid-west sponsored by Beck’s Hybrids. A good even flow of crop is very important to obtain threshing of material on material in the concave. This improves grain quality yielding higher premiums to the grower.
