Remington Seed Combine Clinics
Combine Clinics for Remington Seed were conducted the week of 24 July 2017. These clinics were in western Ohio and central Indiana. The six-harvesting functions of the combine (Cutting & Feeding, Threshing, Separating, Cleaning, Grain Handling, Residue Management) was discussed. The movement of the seed soybean crop from the platform through the combine to the straw chopper showed the importance of properly configuring the combine before attempting field adjustments. Proper configuration results in increased seed quality and combine capacity putting more profit in the grower’s pocket.
